SAGE JAMES TIMER

Well it seems as if the chapter is doing much better this semester than we have in the past.  We would like to appologize for not sending the newsletter out on time.  We are becoming more and more involved on campus, as can be seen when you notice we are playing intramurals this semester.

Finally the Alumni Club for the Zeta Gamma Chapter, is getting up and running. Brother Dave Reist has been working hard to get this to happen. He has been in contact with the National Headquarters and they have been able to help. The recent celebration of Founder's Day was attended by many of the Zeta Gamma Alumni, and was held and put together by local Penn State Alumnus and Past Grand Sage Frank Fryburg (Theta, '49). We all had a great time and are really looking forward to next years event.

As I have said Brother Reist is trying to get the Zeta Gamma's Alumni Club running, and any help would be greatly appreciated on his part. To help him just click the email link here and you can personally email Dave and tell him just how much you can offer. EMAIL DAVE!

Coming May 3rd 2000, Sigma Pi will be sponsoring a campus wide seminar on Graduation. The seminar will be hosted by none other than Dr. Dennis Carradin, a Sigma Pi brother from here at Millersville. Brother Carradin has been a great help to the chapter in the past year. He and Brother Rob Grant were responsible for purchasing mountain bikes that were raffled off to help the chapter raise some money. With this seminar Brother Carradin hopes to inform graduation seniors that leaving college is not always a happy smiley predicament. In his presentation he will be dealing with depression and how to set up a really good resume, that will help get you the job you want. If any alumni are interested in attending to show support, or just because they would like to come spend some time with the chapter the presentation will take place May 3, 2000 at 6 PM in the Student Memorial Center's Multi-Purpose Room.
Hope to see you there!

Even though I miss him very much it seems that Brother Mark Caltagirone (Sigma Class, Spr '94) has been doing all right for himself. He is working at a national aquarium in New Orleans, and has made it into their paper. Here is a link to the article, check it out and see just how well a brother can do on his own.
